Three-time premiership captain Michael Voss has come out today saying an AFL team will be permanently based on the Gold Coast within ten years.
We all know the AFL is continually striving to develop the game in the less traditional football markets of Queensland and New South Wales, and this is set to continue with the cash-strapped Kangaroos scheduled to play ten games on the Coast a a part of a three-year deal.
But will an AFL team be based on the Gold Coast before 2016?
